The image in the header is the view of the West Loch Tarbert from the Kennacraig terminal pier in Scotland, while waiting on a ferry to the isle of Islay, home to some of the most famous Single Malt Scotch Whiskies in the world. You can read all about it in my 2-part post “Visiting Islay“.

In Absentia is the name of an album of a progressive rock band Porcupine Tree, which is in my opinion one of the greatest pieces of music ever made!
